While many recognise Valentine’s Day as a modern celebration, its roots stretch deep into the ancient world. Before it became a commercial holiday, mid-February was sacred to the Romans as Lupercalia, a fertility festival honouring the wild forces of love, purification and renewal. In many pagan traditions, this was a time to honour the cycles of the heart, rekindle passion, and call in deeper connections. The wisdom keepers of old understood that love is not just romantic - it is the force that sustains and guides us. For shamans and medicine people, love has always been more than an emotion; it is the life-giving essence that binds us to all beings to the Earth and to Spirit. Love is a foundation and a path we walk, rather than something we seek.

Join Me for a Bobinsana Heart Centred Ceremony – Saturday 15th February
This is more than just a gathering - it’s a Shamanic Vision Quest to reconnect and repair your heart. We will be working with two powerful heart medicines: Cacao and Bobinsana. There will also be an opportunity to work with Hapé and Sananga: Sacred Medicines for Healing and Clarity.
The Amazon offers powerful plant allies for deep healing; used for centuries by Indigenous tribes, these medicines bring purification, grounding and heightened perception - both physically and spiritually.

In this sacred container on the 15th, we will share these medicines together, sit in a circle of like-minded souls, and journey beyond the veils to receive the wisdom of the heart.
