Dearest Heart,

This Gemini New Moon on the 26th/27th May invites us to dance with duality, curiosity and adaptability. The skies open a portal of fresh ideas, new intentions and powerful communications - but the real magic lies in how we integrate the twin energies of Gemini into our inner world.

🌗 Mythology of Gemini

At the heart of Gemini lies a myth that is not simply about duality - it is about devotion, divine love, and the reunion of soul fragments.

Castor and Pollux were twin brothers - born of the same mother but from different fathers (yes, but go with it!). Castor, mortal son of man, and Pollux, divine son of Zeus. They were inseparable, bound by an unbreakable bond of loyalty and soul kinship. They fought side by side, lived as one, and knew no separation between them - until fate intervened.

In battle, Castor was slain, and Pollux, immortal and untouched by death, was left to wander the earth in grief. He could not bear the divide between them. What is eternity, he asked the gods, without the one you love most? Pollux begged Zeus to take his immortality - if he could not be with his brother, he wanted no part in godhood.

Zeus, moved by this act of love, offered them a new fate: to be joined forever in the heavens as the constellation Gemini, shining together - sometimes in Olympus, sometimes in the Underworld - two halves of one whole, sharing eternity in turns.

This myth is not just about twins - it is about us. It’s about unifying all parts of ourselves. The mortal part that longs, aches, dies and forgets… and the divine part that remembers, yearns and carries the eternal light.

Gemini teaches us:

• That we are both spirit and flesh

• That true integration comes from honouring both (all) sides of the self

• That love - whether for another or for the lost parts within - is the path to wholeness

During this New Moon, you’re invited to call back the pieces of yourself you’ve left behind… and to choose reunion over separation, again and again.
